About

A Klik-Lock sealed tray system consisting of a separate base and lid, designed to provide secure enclosure and clean presentation for food, bakery, and specialty packaging applications. This tray style is commonly used where full product coverage, protection, and premium appearance are required. The tray base and lid can be produced using either a klik-lock folding system or a glued construction, depending on production and packing requirements. - Klik-lock trays and lids ship flat and are manually folded into shape without the use of additional glue, allowing for quick setup, flexibility, and efficient hand-packing operations. - Glued trays and lids require machine gluing during production, resulting in a rigid, pre-formed structure suitable for higher volumes and consistent presentation. When assembled, the separate lid fits securely over the tray base, helping protect contents during handling, transport, and retail display. This format supports clean stacking, product stability, and a refined shelf appearance, while allowing easy access when opened. Manufactured using food-grade paperboard options such as SBS and other premium folding carton materials, klik-lock and glued tray systems can be produced in custom sizes to accommodate a wide range of products. Available with a wide range of print and finishing options, including matte or gloss coatings, soft-touch finishes, spot UV, embossing, debossing, foil stamping, and window cut-outs, to enhance branding and product visibility. Common applications include: - Bakery and pastry products - Specialty food items - Prepared foods and deli packaging - Gift and premium presentation boxes - Light to medium-weight retail products
