Managing Your Product Listings on Surch Foods: Key Actions for Suppliers

Once you've started adding products, you can quickly manage them with these helpful tools to save time, stay organized, and ensure your listings look perfect.

1. How to - Edit a Product

• Go to the Products section in your Company Menu to view your full list of listings.
• Choose the Product you want to edit and click the 3 dots at the right side of the listing.
• Make changes to any field: product name, description, packaging, pricing, images, or certifications.
• Click Save Changes after making edits to ensure your updates go live.
• You can edit products at any time, even after they’ve been published - so your listings always stay current and accurate.

2. How to - Duplicate a Product

Want to save time entering similar products?

• Go to your Products and choose the item you wish to duplicate.
• Click on the 3 dots at the right of the listing and choose Duplicate.
• The new version will read ex. 'Copy of' Autumn Tea Blend.
• Open the new product, update the name and add unique details (e.g., size, flavor, format).

This is perfect for multi-SKU product lines or packaging variations.

3. How to - Publish a Product

When your product is complete and ready for buyers to see:

• Open the Product from your Product list.
• Review all fields and ensure your images, specs, and description are accurate.
• Click Publish at the bottom of the product page to set it to live in the search.

Don’t worry, you can still edit your product after it’s published.

4. How to - Preview Your Public Page

Want to make sure your product shines before it goes live? With just one click, you can preview exactly how buyers will see your listing - both on your public profile and in search results.

• Click the Public Page from your Product list and a new tab will open with the full preview.
• Use this opportunity to spot formatting issues, fine-tune your presentation, and ensure your listing is buyer-ready. It’s your moment to make a strong first impression - make it count!

5. How to - Delete a Product

Need to delete a product from your listings?

• Go to your Products page and choose the product you'd like to delete.
• Click on the 3 dots at the right of the listing and choose Delete.
• Confirm deletion - this action is permanent, so double-check before removing!

Tip: You can unpublish instead if you just want to hide a listing temporarily.

6. How to - Unpublish a Product

Need to remove a product from your listings?

• Go to your Products page and click on the product you'd like to unpublish.
• Click on the More Actions button in the top right of the product page and choose Unpublish.
• The status will change to draft and the green circle will turn to orange.
• You can publish your product again when you're ready.

Unpublishing a product is the best option when:

1. You don’t want buyers to see or search for the product at all while it's unavailable.
2. You’re making updates or changes to the product details, pricing, images, or specs.
3. The product is discontinued, seasonal, or paused indefinitely.
4. You want to remove it without deleting it, in case it returns later.

Tip: Hide the product until it’s truly ready, then republish it with updated info in just one click.
